Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara (C-R) greets the 46 Ivorian soldiers, who were arrested in July and condemned by the Malian courts and pardoned by the president of the transition Assimi Goita, upon their arrival at Abidjan airport, in Ivory Coast, on 07 January 2023. The 46 Ivorian soldiers detained in Mali since 10 July 2022 set foot on Ivorian soil this Saturday, 07 January 2023 at 11:40 p.m. (local time). They were welcomed at Felix Houphouet-Boigny International Airport in Port-Bouet by the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara, the Vice-President, Koné Tiémoko Meyliet, Prime Minister Patrick Achi and several members of the government.
