Queen Elizabeth II's coffin procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall, London, UK - 14 Sep 2022
Prince William and Prince Harry with The Queen's cortege making its way down the Mall in London this afternoon (Wed), accompanied by her children and grandchildren, as thousands of mourners lined the streets. Prince William and Prince Harry supported their father King Charles III by marching with him behind the Queen's coffin, accompanied by Prince Andrew, Princess Anne and the Prince Edward. Princess Anne's son Peter Phillips and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence also walked in the procession, as well as the Duke of Gloucester and the Earl of Snowdon. The Queen Consort, the Princess of Wales, Sophie Countess of Wessex and Meghan Duchess of Sussex travelled by car.The procession left Buckingham Palace at 2.22pm, with the Queen's coffin on a gun carriage. It then went along Whitehall and into Parliament Square before entering the Palace of Westminster. Her Majesty will now lie in state for four days until her funeral on Monday (Sept 19).
